Most rewarding aspects of your engagement with the UC Hastings community
Helping my students develop lawyering skills, knowledge, and experience while also helping members of our greater community obtain access to justice.
A recent community-oriented project you’ve participated in
Supervising Mediation Clinic students who facilitate settlement conversations at both the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and the California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
Particularly meaningful honor
I am eternally grateful to have received the John A. Sutro Public Interest Law Fellowship—the financial and confidence boost I needed to ignite my career and do the community legal work I had trained in law school to do.
Most important way the Hastings community enriches your life
It is a blessing to be able to study, teach, and practice lawyering for social justice alongside incredible students, fellow allied clinical and nonclinical faculty and staff, and community partners.
