A Criminal Law case in which I had to recommend charges against a hypothetical father who negligently administered the wrong medication to his 3-year-old daughter. What appeared to be a clear-cut case of manslaughter turned out to be more complex, and my analysis led me to a different set of charges.

Issues that spark your passion
Criminal justice corruption and reform in Nigeria. I am a Catholic priest from Nigeria, and I entered law after visiting prisons during seminary. Many of our youth are imprisoned simply because they are poor; they are sometimes kept in detention for years “awaiting trial.”
