Most rewarding aspects of your engagement with the UC Hastings community

A particularly meaningful experience as a mentor
My husband (also a Hastings alum) and I have been hosting “6@6” gatherings at our home for years: we have a half-dozen students over for dinner and conversation about law school and legal careers. The event always reminds us how excited and optimistic we felt as law students.
Particularly meaningful honors or awards
Winning Litigators, National Law Journal (2019), for first-chairing and winning a $150 million class-action trial; “Top 40 Under 40” (The Daily Journal, 2016); “Northern California Rising Star,” Super Lawyers, 2010-2016; Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Father Cuchulain Moriarty Award (2011), for extraordinary pro bono contribution to the Lawyers’ Committee’s Asylum Project.
